Derived from the NIQUE technique of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, crafted by founders Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, this class prioritizes a dancer's versatility and range. It merges classical and contemporary dance forms, delving into on and off-center movement to strengthen the bond between the upper and lower body while accentuating a mobile torso. Rooted in classical ballet, the class begins at the barre before advancing to the center, employing fluid exercises to help bolster strength, coordination, and placement.
